PillPattern Privacy Policy

1. Your Privacy

PillPattern is designed to work locally on your device.

PillPattern does not require an account, does not contain advertisements, and does not include analytics or tracking SDKs.

The application does not have the Android INTERNET permission and does not transmit your medication information or dose history to AnythingApps.

2. Information Stored by PillPattern

PillPattern allows you to enter and manage information such as:

• Medication names and strengths
• Medication schedules
• Reminder settings
• Taken, Missed, Skipped, and Pending dose records
• The time a dose was marked Taken
• Medication history and statistics
• Adaptive reminder settings and learned reminder timing

This information is stored locally on your device.

PillPattern does not send this information to AnythingApps or to a cloud service.

3. Adaptive Reminders

PillPattern can optionally learn from the times you mark doses as Taken and use that history to adjust future reminder timing.

Adaptive reminder calculations are performed locally on your device.

Your intended medication schedule is kept separate from adaptive reminder timing. PillPattern does not change your medication instructions or determine when you medically should take a medication.

4. Internet Access

PillPattern does not request the Android INTERNET permission.

The current version of PillPattern does not provide:

• Cloud synchronization
• Online accounts
• Remote medication storage
• Advertising
• Analytics
• Behavioral tracking

5. Notifications and Alarms

PillPattern may request permission to send notifications so that it can provide medication reminders.

Depending on your Android version and device settings, PillPattern may also request access to schedule precise alarms. This allows reminders to be delivered closer to their intended time.

If precise-alarm access is unavailable, PillPattern may use Android's approximate alarm functionality instead.

These permissions are used only to provide medication reminder functionality.

6. Data Sharing

AnythingApps does not sell, rent, or share your PillPattern medication data because PillPattern does not transmit that information to AnythingApps.

PillPattern does not include advertising networks, analytics services, or tracking SDKs.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Medication information and history remain stored on your device until you remove them through the application or remove PillPattern and its local application data.

Archiving a medication may preserve its historical dose information while stopping future reminders.

PillPattern does not maintain a remote copy of your medication information.

8. Backups and Synchronization

PillPattern does not provide cloud backup or multi-device synchronization.

Your PillPattern information is intended to remain local to the device on which it is entered.

9. Security

Because PillPattern stores information locally, access to that information also depends on the security of your Android device.

You should use appropriate device security features such as a screen lock if other people may have access to your device.

No electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Medical Disclaimer

PillPattern is a medication reminder and record-keeping tool.

PillPattern does not:

• Diagnose medical conditions
• Provide medical advice
• Recommend medications
• Recommend dosages
• Determine when you should medically take a medication
• Replace instructions from a doctor, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional

Always follow the medication instructions provided by your healthcare professional.

If you have questions about a medication, dosage, timing, side effects, or treatment, consult an appropriate healthcare professional.

11. Third-Party Platform Services

PillPattern is distributed through Google Play and runs on the Android operating system.

Google and your device manufacturer may independently process information relating to app installation, purchases, device operation, crash reporting, or Google Play services according to their own privacy policies.

That processing is controlled by those third parties and is separate from PillPattern's own data handling.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

AnythingApps may update this Privacy Policy if PillPattern's features or data practices change.

If an update materially changes how PillPattern handles user information, the Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

The effective date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
